On most of those revolvers, the key to re-assembly is a gadget we used to call a "slave pin", but which has now been renamed a "server pin" to be politically correct. For example, you install the sear and spring in the rear of the trigger guard, then insert a pin that is no longer than the width of the guard to keep things in place. You then insert the guard, and install the full length pin through the frame, driving out the sla... oops, server pin. This sort of thing is almost never mentioned in assembly instructions, but it is impossible to do the job any other way.
