Hey guys, new to this so bear with me. I have an old shotgun that been passed down through the generation and was wanting to learn a little about its history. It doesnt have many marking on it but on the barrel all it says is
Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge CO.
Remington Works, Ilion, New York USA
Patented Febuary 3rd, 1903 AND May 16th, 1905
It has another marking on the trigger guard and its says,
Remington UMC Trademark
And one on the butt that says REMINGTON UMC
The only numbers it has on it says,
U
76922
Its and awesome shotgun even though its so old and i use it every turkey season, When i go to turkey shoots it out shoots everything there and almost wins everytime. I would really appreciate any information anyone could give me on this. So thanks alot for your responses and time....Chris
