1903 Colt pictures

This Colt didn't have enough blue left to be attractive, but it was in otherwise excellent condition, so I decided to make a shooter out of it for my wife.

Accurate Plating did the plating in matte hard chrome. The grips are bonded ivory.

That's very slick. Really give the classic lines of the old '03 a new, very modern look.

Makes me wish I had a beater to do the same thing with, as my original-condition 1919-vintage .32 is too nice.

I wonder if that look could encourage enough sales to justify re-introduction of the old Colt? I think thes guns are very under-rated by modern standards.
