190 Barrel nut wrench

I just bought an old Winchester 190 22LR in real nice condition. I'm looking for a barrel nut wrench or a pic of one so I can make one. Any help would be appreicated.

Weren't they press fit at the factory? I know the 200 series were.

Sir:
I assume you know it's a nut since you see you need a wrench - those were put in with a nut.
I'd take the bbl out, clean it up and check the threads and align it and put some loc-tite on the threads and with an improvised wrench screw the nut in pretty tite, but not stripping the threads. Then put a piece of flat lead or soft metal and smack the end of the bbl. and see if the nut will go further.
Ought to hold.

There is a wrench listed on Ebay for around $20.00 that will fit all of the models with a barrel nut. good luck,

As long as we are talking 190's, anyone have a good tip for putting the recoil spring and guide rod back in after cleaning? I find that such a pain I almost never shoot the 190.
