19 Days!

Mailed my FL CW app on 1/2... got in the mail today. :) Not bad, for once government exceeds my expectations (state govt. that is).

That's not bad at all. I've heard stories of people waiting much longer in FL. I will be taking the CWP class the first week of next month and then driving the application to Orlando to the Dept. of Agriculture. Turn around from them is supposedly 5-10 days.

That's pretty good. Last time I sent mine in (Indiana) it took about two months. Made me glad I got the lifetime one so I don't ever have to mess with it again.

You suck:p Sent mine off just before Obama got elected (coincidental timing) and we all know what that did to the whole market. Got mine back three agonizing months later. Do you already have your gun/holster combo? Enjoy the peace of mind.

Sure do. I can't carry to work but it'll be right outside in the parking lot. I will be carrying pretty much everywhere else.

I'm waiting on mine from Indiana. I mailed all of the stuff off about 2 weeks ago, but was told it could take up to 3 months..(GOO!) Hopefully only take a few more weeks. good thing I got the Lifetime

I noticed you also have a ruger p95 which is my primary weapon. I also have a small rossi .38 snubby. Do you CC your p95? If so, how do you carry it?
Hope i'm not thread jacking.

Made me glad I got the lifetime one so I don't ever have to mess with it again.

I wish Kentucky offered a lifetime Concealed Weapons License. $60.00 every five years isn't all that bad though.

It could be worse - I could be in a state where I couldn't carry concealed at all. I feel bad for all the people that do.

P95

Nah, I'm afraid I am not ambitious enough to try and carry the P95, it's a very substantial pistol at 27 ounces empty (and probably 35 with a 15 round magazine). It's either the LCP or at most a .38 snub for me.... the P95 is a good candidate for the car though.

I'm headed on a road trip this afternoon and will carry my KP95

is not difficult with the right holster. Not what I would carry for everyday... but perfect for on and out on the road. then again I'll have a PC9 with me too in case things get really hinky and I have to plow my way back home.

took me something like 80 days to get my Florida permit...but then they kicked it back twice.
