Well, boys and girls, got my gun from Cabelas. Lotta packing grease to remove. Case hardening on this one is great, compared to my London Navy. Cleaned up the cylinder, chambers, etc, and arbor and greased arbor with my home made bore butter. Wedge fits right. Gonna load it tonite and shoot a cyl. tomorrow. Think we have a keeper. Locks up good and tight. Haven't checked bolt fit yet, though. Adjustment was necessary on my London. Gotta shoot a cylinder, then dismantle, debur, etc. tomorrow. Hope it shoots as good as my Navy.

Thankfully raising kids and educating them is LONG past. Nor do I attribute gender or do I name my toys as many do. But these BP guns are a lot like the grandchildren of my old age and I like to give them a lot of attention, IOW spoil 'em terribly. Gonna start that today.
