Well today we went down to the range and shot the 1851 44 Sheriffs model
with the five shot 45 Colt converson cylinder and the Black Hills 45 Colt
Cowboy loads. I got this slicked up so you can push the wedge out with your
thumb to load the cylinder. Everything worked real slick. I was very impressed. Really impressed!! 25 yds groups ran around 4 inches. It shot
about 3 inches high. Windage right on. It was very easy and fast to push the
wedge out, push the cases out with a short dowell rod, reload and shoot again. Had offers from the guys to buy it for 375.00 but I turned them down.
Did I say I love this thing. Can't wait to shoot the Goex Black Dawge factory
