Welcome ol' sarge! Definitely not a wall ornament if you want to shoot it. Some consider black powder substitues (pyrodex p, Goex Pinnacle, 777)as "smokeless" but they aren't. Real smokeless powder isn't for your gun, but why smokeless anyway? You can shoot black powder, or the subs. Makes some smoke but that's half the fun. If I can't find black, I shoot Pyrodex P in mine.

I'm a bit confused - you bought a bp revolver and you want to shoot smokeless in it - do I have that right?
BP revolvers are intended to shoot black powder or black powder substitutes ONLY. NO, repeat, NO, NADA, NONE, ZILCH, ZERO smokeless powder at any time for any reason in any amount.
You may use real black powder (Goex, Swiss, KIK, etc.) or one of the substitutes (Pyrodex, 777, American Pioneer, Goex Pinnacle, etc.).
These powders come in granulations of ffg and fffg (there are also fg, ffffg and 7f, but forget about those for now), or in the case of Pyrodex, RS and P. You should select fffg or Pyrodex P for your pistol.
Also, limit your powder loads to 25 gr by volume or less, as heavier loads will, over time, damage the frame.

FFg, as well, will work. But I've heard the accuracy tends to suffer. I'd just stick with FFFg unless you cannot find anything but FFg.

Real BP is hard to find thanks to new laws from Homeland Security. You can mail order it, that involves some haz-mat fees and makes it expensive in small amounts.
You should be able to find Pyrodex P or 777 locally, those are good substitutes.
You have a brass frame, I would avoid using 777, get some Pyrodex P and keep your loads around 18-20grs.

I just searched gunshops and Columbus, GA. There seems to be at least two shops that should be of a size to handle black powder or substitutes right in Columbus. Nationwide Sports may have it.
There is also a rifle and pistol club on base that you might contact. Somebody in that organization might be able to help you out with local sources.
I also looked for Bass Proshop and Cabelas, both of whom stock powder, but there appear to be none within sixty miles of the fort.
At the Guns shows here in Virginia, there is always a guy who has a very good selection of powder, powder substitute and caps. He knocks ten percent off at the shows. If there are gun shows that happenclose to the fort, you might check one of those.

You CAN get real black powder from any number of online stores, but those which offer the one or two pounds many prefer will generally KILL you with shipping and hazmat fees. For example, a $14.00 pound of fff Goex is a little over $48.00 delivered to your home from one supplier. HAving a number of muzzle loaders, including severla pistols and a rifle, I ordered 10 lbs of Goex from Powder Inc. Granulations can be mixed to order, so I got one ffff, 7 fff and 2 ff for 10 pounds total. The entire order cost $169.00 delivered. That will keep me in powder for 2-3 years. Just a thought for you or anyone else who can't find real black powder locally.

Go to www.nmlra.org. On the left side of the page are links to NMLRA Field Representatives and Charter Clubs. There are 9 field reps and 5 charter clubs in GA. Contact any one of those and ask if they have any activities near you at which a black powder vendor might be expected to have a table. Also, the clubs may have a bulk purchase program for members that would make small amounts very economical for a nominal membership fee.
