18" barrel for 870 Super Mag

I have a Remington 870 Super Magnum, which will accomodate 2 3/4 - 3 1/2.

I'm looking for an 18" barrel for this gun, but I hear they aren't available for the super magnum. Does the super mag require a special barrel or does the 870 express barrel "mate" with it?

I have the same gun and i had the same dilemma. I did not find an 18'' barrel that would shoot 3.5inch rounds. You have 2 options, saw it off, or do what i did and just put a standard barrel on there. I have had no issues firing 2 3/4 inch rounds out of it. With an 18inch barrel i assume you want it for your house, and i don't think you will be needing 3.5 inch shells for that.

I bought my barrel on ebay for 110shipped.
