I have a savage stainless 17 hmr an i sight mine in at 100 yards and if you cant hit it by aiming straight at it, it is to far away to kill cleanly, so in other words if you are zeroed at 100 you will make shots out to about 150.
Mine is at 200yds. That gives me PBR to about 225 on a whistle-pig and I hold on the base of the fine line in the duplex scope I have mounted for 300. Beyond that it noses off too hard for any amount of practical shot. But a Prairie Dog out to 200yds is no trouble so long as the cross-winds aren't playing too much--300 if all the conditions are right is almost as much a guarantee.
Mine is 75 yards dead on.I'm using sweet 17 bsa scope, was surprized how well the yardage turrets work,Like stated above 200yds very little problem on a still day.
I have mine set so it is dead on at 100... haven't reached out much beyond that yet... where I live I don't get rabbit or squirrel shots past that distance anyways... you can see in this video it is moment of beer can accurate even in heavy wind...
