The revolver looks wonderful!! I have a few questions:
-What is "special" about this revolver?
-How does it compare to a similar S&W?
-Is the CDNN price reasonable?
-Any other info would be great!!!
Those are some slow moving old stock. They aren't anything special. The Heritage Series left overs that simply didn't and probably couldn't be sold. Shooters with 0 collectible future. I would prefer an older M15. These M15-9s have strange geometry and modified internals. I do suggest running them by a S&W aware gunsmith. The main problem was the firing pins (short), unreliable ignition and far too heavy springing due to the odd geometry of the trigger/hammer and too short firing pin. The colour case hardening is thin and can scratch/wear quickly. CDNN is blowing these out. They would be a great starting point for a target model. WOW! I just reread the price! $599.00 is FAR overpriced. $399.00 would be more like it.
