12 ga Street sweeper

The subject of the 12 ga Street sweeper came up today and no one had any good information on them. We know they were put on the bannened list. But, Were they grandfathered in? OR, did they have to be regestered and are now a Class III Firearm ? Who knows, you never know when you might run up on one at a good deal. But if it is a class III now, and had not been regestered, it would be a good time to leave

Just found the answer, They are a Class III
Street Sweeper is a 12-gauge, 12-shot shotgun, classified as a destructive device. . ALL NFA RULES APPLY.

You are right about them being classified as destructive devices. The sunsetting of the AWB will have no effect on them....
