Is this illegal to have or do you need a license.I don't see how it would be illegal cause it is not full auto nor is it a grenade launching device/m-203.
 
I have the Masterkey, which is a very short barrelled 870 registered short barrelled shotgun.

If you use a longer barrel, then no special registration is required, but it will be sticking out well in front of the AR-15 barrel.
 
It's not an AOW if it is mounted on a rifle, the rifle, having a stock would turn your aow into a shoulder fired arm. It must be a registered short barreled shotgun.
