11-87 Premier Trap Choke Tube questions

I have an 11-87 premier trap from 1989 with two barrels and a number of choke tubes. I'm trying to ID the choke tubes, as it seems I may have a mix of the "special" ones that were sold with the overbored target barrels and normal remchokes.
I've measured the inside diameter of the choke tubes with calipers, and there are some conflicting names. Here is what they are labeled and what they measure:
  • Full Trap - .730"
  • Skeet •• - .730"
  • Improved Skeet - .726"
  • SK 1 (Extended tube) - .726"
  • Improved Cylinder •• - .720"
  • Extra Full Trap - .710"
  • Mod (Extended tube) - .710"
  • Super Full Trap - .691"
I'm not sure what the •• after the name means. I'm also not sure what the extended tubes do for me.

My understanding is the premier trap target barrel was overbored to .745" and has a built in constriction down to .727" (.018" taper) before the choke tube, making for a built in Mod choke basically. My choke tubes all measure .740" at the threaded end.

I have both a 30" target (trap) barrel and a 25.5" target barrel (I think it was the premier skeet barrel). I believe both are overbored, but don't know of a way to check.
I'm also trying to find out whether I can fire slugs through either of these barrels.

Any help is much appreciated.

Don't run slugs through to overbore barrels. I have an overbore Mossberg and was warned not to use slugs. If you want to shoot slugs look for a slug barrel for that model. I am not sure what to tell you about the chokes except this: go set up a pattern board and see what each choke actually gives you at 40 yards. Not all chokes labeled as modified give the percentage of shot inside a 40 inch circle to qualify as modified.
