Grapeshot,

quote:
I love the feel of the EAA, and the P97 feels as ergonomic as a box of rocks, but if you ever need to send the gun back for some reason, Ruger service is great in my experience. EAA on the other hand has been rated on this board and others as anywhere from mediocre to downright terrible, not an inspiring track record.[/quote]
You got that right. I love my Witness .45, and bought it after shooting both it and the Ruger P97. It is a dichotomy, that Witness pistols (made by Tanfoglio in Italy) should be distributed here in the U.S. by a company with such a poor customer service reputation. I have said it before in TFL replies that I have written Tanfoglio in Italy for information and received prompt, curteous replies.
To your question, I would shoot both and see what feels better. I would further recommend the .45 over the 10mm.
Good shooting, Mike
