so i understand that S&W makes a revolver in 10mm, i'm not really interested in buying one since i'm not 'of age' but i just had a few questions.

1. does the gun use full moon clips, or does the 10mm have a rim? (i've never actually seen a 10mm round. but i'm assuming is dosent have a rim)

2. can you shoot .40 S&W in the 10mm revolver?

thanks guys.

50 shots, 15 yards, hot 10mm loads, first time on the range with the gun.

I prefer the fluteds myself.

Im not sure if Smith-wesson sells them anymore the model 610 is not on there website as of late. :( Its a pity because I really want a 10mm revolver

Nope they are out of production, but they are around for sale on the used market at halfway decent prices.

The key questions now are barrel length and fluted vs. unfluted.

I am a fluted man myself (see the pictures above). It took diligent searching on the web but I found both guns within 2 weeks of each other after about a 5 month search. I did not like the way the 5" shot so I sold it to another collector, but I am going out with my 6.5" this morning. I just got done loading up 350 rounds in clips.

Fun guns to shoot!.

Ps, there are a lot more unfluted 6.5" then the rest of them. Also there are a bunch of 4" if you want them.
