10mm auto vs 10mm magnum

Can anybody tell me the diffrence between this two bullets? can a 10mmauto be fired in a 10mm magnum?

I think the 10mm Mag. is about .25" longer than the 10mm, velocity is about 200 FPS faster in 200 gr loads. A 10mm would not work in a 10mm Mag auto (only factory gun produced in 10mm Mag,) but it does work in a converted *&* 610 revolver with full moon clips.
