10mm auto, economy minded

OK whats a mid-priced used 10mm auto. No DAO models, something good for say under $350 like new condition. thanks
 
I do not know what the current witness price is but mine was $285 with 5 mags when I bought it originally. I think it is probably close to the same price.

Mine is great, very reliable and all that steel soaks up the 10mm recoil a bunch.
 
Witness 10mm is about the only buy in that price range. A while back I saw a SW1006 for @425 used, and it looked rough.

I understand that Kahr Arms now oversees the manufacture of firearms made by Auto Ordnance. From memory, I recall Auto Ordnance making a 10mm 1911.
I would love to see an inexpensive 10mm 1911 with Kahr quality standards.
 
Spend a little more

If you buy the witness and have no contact with EAA you will love the pistol. If you have any problems you will be sorry after the first contact with EAA. They are the worst company to deal with.
 
I have seen several used S&W 10** series pistols for sale at this price. I have read that these guns are great shooters. There are a few for sale at Auctionarms.com.

If the witness 10 shoots good for you, (About 50% chance) You'll be happy, and they stay ok.
If you get a lemon (Very common), or have to deal with eaa, it's nothing but headaches.
