I have a Glock 17 incoming, and if I like it, I am considering making the G20 my next purchase. I am also considering the EEA Witness 10mm, but I don't want to buy a handgun that I can't find ammo or at least find it at fairly reasonable prices.
Local gun shops seem to keep a good variety in stock. Remington, Federal, CCI/Speer, Hornady, Winchester, Cor-Bon, ProLoad and Triton all catalog at least one loading in this caliber, and most of them have several...
Any time I go in a gunshop I always look at the ammo selection among other items I ALWAYS look for. It seems to me that only one shop I have EVER been to failed to carry at least one variant of 10mm.
Crrently I'm in a toss-up whether to make my next pistol a G20 or a Walther P22. Like to have the 10m, but the value of the P22 for practice and plinking is HUGE.
2 local gunshops and one local sporting goods store (Dick's) has 10mm UMC's, American Eagle, and Blaser's for $15 a box of 50. CheaperthanDirt.com has em for $12 along with Silvertips at $9 a box of 20, and many other types of practice and defence loads.
When I first got my 10mm a few years ago, right after the all-but death of and just before the slight rebirth, only one gunshop had 10mm practice ammo..UMC's at $28 a box. Inspired me to buy a reloader..then ofcource the price droped...but I can make loads duplicating Silvertip performance for about $15 per hundred. Cheap practice with a carbon copy of my carry load. Silvertips are the hottest 10mm load on the market at 690ft/lbs. My practice loads that duplicate their ballistics are quite far from max load. Almost makes me want to buy a second G20 and a Jarvis Barrel and see just how much power this cartidge can make.

First, welcome to the tribe (wanted to beat Tamara to it ).
Second, in addition to what's already been suggested, I highly recommend ordering Georgia Arms' 10mm/180gn FMJ for practice fodder. 1000 rds for $180 - that's 18 cents a rd. Good stuff, very reliable. They also offer 180gn Gold Dot HPs @ 1150 FPS. These are newly made, not reloads. I believe they also carry 10mm loads with the lighter 155gn bullets.
Having gone thru many cases of it, I can recommend the Blazer 200gn FMJ. Very reliable and accurate ammo, in my experience.
