Looking for some history on this gun? Ive got one just dont know anything about nor ever heard about American Arms Inc.
 
A lot of Spanish-made shotguns were imported under numerous brand names from 1900 until the 1980s. Generally, they are cheaply-made and impossible to find part for. If it works it may be good for shooting, but be careful you aren't too rough on it.

American Arms Inc is vague enough it could be anything from a storefront operation to a real gunmaker that also imported guns. Look for the proofmarks, which often have dates with them. That will give you an idea of how old it is.
 
American Arms, Inc. was located in Kansas City, MO, from about 1985 to 2000. They imported various guns, including SA revolvers, semi-auto pistols, reproduction Winchesters, etc., mostly from Italy and Spain.

I would agree with Scorch in general on Spanish guns, but American Arms imported some very good ones (the SxS Grulla sold for $3100 in 1994). Most were in the $600-1000 range, and average around $500-700 today in top condition. Look closely at the gun and see if there is not another name or marking on it somewhere.
