2 209Man New member May 22, 2011 #1 My dad and I was sighting in his new Marlin .243 yesterday. We was shooting at the 100 yard range. There was a 10 - 15 mph crosswind, could this have affected the bullet by any chance? We was shooting Federal 100 gr bullets.

B Brian Pfleuger Moderator Emeritus May 22, 2011 #2 Sure it could, but not very much. At 100 yards, an inch maybe? Probably not that much.
