Somebody edgemacate me here.

What are the standard lengths for 10 gauge shells? I've seen 3.5" around. I know that for 12 gauge, the standard American lengths are 2.75", 3", and 3.5" (as well as 2" and 2.5" in Europe), but what about 10 gauge?
 
According to Winchester's product line, they are all 3½" except for the 2 7/8" black powder blanks. Remington lists only 3½" shells. Unless there is someone making some specialty cartridge, it appears as if 3½ is the standard length.
 
3 1/2" is the present standard. In days of old, a 2 7/8" shell and gun were standard. Sometimes the shorter shell was called the Super 10.

Many old and odd lengths out there, not confined to the 10. 2 5/8" and 2 9/16, for instance, the first in 12 ga and the last in 16.

The Brits also did 2 and 2 1/2" guns and shells in 12 ga.
