don't shoot much, but would like to keep this gun going. I see lee loader was once made in this calibre. Anyone know where one might find such an item?

I see them once in a while at the gunshows ... but if I were you, I'd invest in a lower end MEC reloader instead. They have a couple of models for the 10ga.....like the 600 jr model ...

new, I think they're around $ 150 ..../ but you might find a used one as well.

But there aren't many of us that reload for a 10ga ( vs 12ga, 20ga, 28ga and .410's ) ....

Thanks jim - your right about the mec . I just thought someone might have one - probably if they did the "antique " value could be astronomical.

I don't know about astronomical ....:D ...most of those things were rode hard ...and often put away wet .... :D

Not everyone takes good care of their equipment ....:barf:

Its an old joke ....." he looked like he'd been rode hard and put away wet " ....as in a horse that had been rode hard and put away wet ...and neglected.... :(

I know I'm getting old, when even my humor is tired ....:D

I only meant - they abuse the loaders / try to sell them without even cleaning them up. At my local gun show last week ....there were so many used guns, loaders, etc - that were greasy, filthy dirty, and beat up ....and the owner didn't even care enough to clean them up before he brings them in to try and sell em....its always amazing to me ....

Personally, if something is dirty ....I will pass on it ....

No, noone would ...hopefully ....ever get their loaders wet ....

Humor

Ha!
I know I'm getting old, when even my humor is tired ....

No, it's not. I quite like that expression - now that I know it - and I'll probably use it.
I have an unfortunate tendency to take everything in shooting fora seriously.
May be that's a function of my own aging. Alas.
