10/22 ?

I have recently aquired a 10/22 with a ramline floding stock. I know that these items are banned on guns made
after 94(?). How does one go about finding the date of manufacture. I don't really like the folder although it
does look pretty cool. Would it be wise to just sell it and get a standard stock as this is what I would rather
have.If I can be assured that it is legal on the gun I will probably keep it for a while.

Go to www.sportables.com. They have the charts showing Ruger S/N and date of manufacture. Best, weegee.

Marsbars, Should you decide to purchase a standard stock for your 10/22 I just purchased and installed a Butler Creek stock for my rifle and thus my original stock is available.
