10/22 trigger

Just a question for all you old 10/22 builders out there. Has anyone tried out the Kidd single stage trigger. As I remember his two-stage triggers were the best years ago when I played with those guns (before the black plague took over ). It is about $70 cheaper than the two-stage and adjusts down to about 1 1/2 lbs. I'd jump on rimfire central.com but I'm at work and our firewall won't let me get there. Just hoping someone here has some insight. thanks

I have a complete KIDD classic with the single stage set a 1.5lbs. It is an amazing trigger. It has zero pretravel or creep and as little overtravel as as possible to allow it to reset. The housing is well machined and anodized. It comes with the interchangeable mag release system which allows switching mag releases from the flat to the extended to the long by simply turning an allen wrench and swapping levers. The trigger is flat and smooth. The pull weight is adjusted by turning a screw in the rear where the hammer strut hole is located. Overtravel is adjusted in the same location. It is the best single stage out there IMO. Comparing it to any of the drop in kits like VQ or Power Customs isnt even fair! Well worth the money...
