10/22 takedown

Any suggestions?
Looking for a scope for a 10/22 takedown for small game and plinking.

Low power, small objective.

Any suggestions?

A friend of mine just bought one and asked me the same question. Because he goes camping quite a bit and backpacks, I suggested a RedDot or one of the Fast fires. Then I saw what they are asking for one and they are over-priced. I now would recommend a low power scope like the Centerpoints, from Wal-Mart. .....

The rifle won't fit in the carry bag if the scope is too big. A dot would work. I tried mine with a 2-7X32 I had and it was too big. For now I'm just using irons, but a 1-4X20 is in my future plans.
