First paycheck of the summer comming:D , wondering how much to pay for a new 10/22 Stainless Synthetic in Southern Kalifornia.

Thanks Marcus, I get my paycheck tomorrow and I think I'll treat myself to one. I saw a Stainless woodstocked today for $210 but I think I'll see if I can find a synthetic one.

If you want a synthetic stock with stainless receiver and barrel, check out the Remington 597 stainless steel variant. Its a little cheaper and not made by an anti-gun corporation that signed an agreement with the UN over gun control. The only downside is no hicaps, but Walmart does carry Slick Willy mags for them.

I just picked up a stainless/synthetic at Wally World tonight for $199. I was thrilled to see that the synthetic stock looks just like a Butler Creek or other aftermarket stock and doesn`t have the huge indents in the sides with RUGER printed in them like all the others I`ve seen did. It`s a SWEET lookin lil rifle! I wish Bill Ruger`s politics were better but.... Marcus
 
Thanks for all the advice guys.

I called around, and had to drive out to Santa Clarita because none of the Walmarts in Los Angeles carry guns, or ammo, PUSSIES! :mad: But I managed to get the last stainless/synthetic they had for $200 and no cutouts in the sides.:D

So I'm now in the waiting period, and on tuesday I get to pick it up.
