10/22 magazines

Where is the best place to buy high cap ruger 10/22 mags? By best I mean price, I have seen 25 round mags that go for up to 79 dollars. Anyone have a secret they are holding on to, or does anyone have any they wanna sell?

I don't want to rub it in, but...

you might want to take a look at www.rugermags.com. High-capacity RIMFIRE mags are one of the few things that Canadians can still be trusted with, apparently. The Butler Creek mags this guys sells are all marked "For Export Only", unfortunately.

I assume this means the BC hi caps at rugermags.com are not available for folks in the US? Or they are but they`re not really legal? That would bite, I was planning on getting a few for the new 10/22 I don`t have yet. Marcus

I haven't found any hi-cap mags that work reliably so I just have ten 10 round mags that are reloaded as soon as they are emptied. Works for me.

FWIW, I'd be VERY careful of www.rugermags.com, I really doubt that they're legal in the US. I'm certain that prices like that for those magazines make them post-ban manufacture and illegal here.

I just fired off an email to query if they were legal in the US, I'll let you know what the response is.
