I'm getting ready to purchase a 10/22 and had questions on some accessories. I plan to use the gun primarily for target shooting.
First questions is about barrels. Most of the target barrels that are advertised for shooting are .920". I'm sure there are many others, but most of the adds I've seen are for Clerke and Butler Creek. If I wanted to spend around $100, what do you recommend?Also, what are the pros/cons of a flutted barrel?
Has anyone had any experience with Advanced Technology stocks? The seem pretty affordable and light. If I purchased a .920" barrel, would it fit?
Finally, I'm interested in the red-dot sights. Pros/cons? Any recommendations on brand? Thanks.
