Well I have sent about a 1000 rounds down range shooting steel, it still has the orignal "C" type stock, in 30/06. and I have noticed that the shots start going way low on the 6th of 7th round. IIRC there was thred about this on how to fix it with a bit of bedding compound under the muzzel where the barrel passes thru the stock. I was told years ago that they will "drag wood" when they get hot. Any advise is welcome, Thanks.
